Do you need additional products?
Additional User Licenses : Each 4Q application comes with license allowing any two users simultaneous access to the application when the application is run under 4D Server. To enable more users to have simultaneous access you will need additional users license.
NOTE: a 4th Quarter user license is different from the 4D database license. For multi-user access to the 4th Quarter application you must have a sufficient number of both 4Q and 4D user licenses. 4Q user licenses are purchased from Braided Matrix; 4D user licenses are purchased from 4D, Inc. The following prices are for 4Q user licenses only.

SuperReport Pro Report Editor : provides a means to create and shared customizable and programmable reports between users of the 4Q application. SuperReport is purchased directly from the Automated Solutions Group.
External Payroll Application : handles pay, tax, vacation and other expenses pertaining to employees on a state-by-state basis. Payroll applications are supported by third parties, run independently from 4Q, and result in data that is imported into 4Q through it's payroll interface. Payroll is purchased directly from the CheckMark Software .
4th Dimension (4D) Server
Required to run 4Q Core, Business, or Job Cost & Accounting Software. Includes 2-user license plus 4D backup software. 4D Server is purchased directly from the 4D, Inc.

purchase

Annual 4Q Upgrade Program (2nd Year & Beyond): 25%
of the cost of your license per year
Access to prerelease versions, free updates, free upgrades
and discounts on new products for the year.
Hourly Support: $440 for 4 hours
We offer a 10% discount on hourly support when purchased with
the Upgrade program.
Leasing
Payment for software and services exceeding $3,000 can be
arranged through Capital Funding Group's leasing program.
Leasing allows you to expense your purchase before you've
paid for it and will not appear on your balance sheet or affect
your existing lines of credit. Leases can be approved within

Multiple Licenses
If a single licensee wants to run multiple copies of 4Q
simultaneously using multiple 4D servers (as is appropriate
for some multi-company situations) then we offer discounts
for the purchase of additional licenses. The following "quantity"
discounts only apply for multiple copies sold to one licensee.

Returns Policy
4Q Core, 4Q Business, and 4Q Job Cot & Accounting Software
may be returned to Braided Matrix within 60 days of purchase
for a full refund. Purchases of source code products are nonrefundable.
Charges for programming, consulting, training and support
are nonrefundable.
Payment
Products provided with additional source code license require
prepayment in the form of business checks or money orders.
We accept VISA and MasterCard, US domestic and international
money orders, and business checks for core, business, and
job cost products. All prices are quoted in US funds. Prices
may change without notice.
Each product is priced to support two simultaneous network
users. Additional user licenses are available at extra
cost.
The Core Accounting product supports the General Ledger,
AR, AP, Cash journals and other back-office accounting functions.
The Business Accounting product supports all the featues
of the Core Accounting product plus customers, vendors, sales,
purchasing, sales people, sales taxes, and the management,
assembly and pricing of inventory.
The Job Cost & Accounting product supports all
features of the Business Accounting product plus integrated
multi-task and multi-stage job costing.
Additional modules can be purchased for either package
to add support for 4Q API's (inter-application communication),
multi-currency, and programmable reports.

SUPPORT & TRAINING
Bug Fixes: are free.
The current version of 4Q, including all bug fixes, are
available to all licensed owners for their first year. These
versions are available through our FTP site. Braided Matrix
only supports the current version of the program.
New Versions
Beyond your first year you must subscribe to the Annual
4Q Upgrade Program to gain continuous access to the current
version through the FTP site. This subscription also assures
you access to the bug fixes provided with the new versions.
Annual 4Q Upgrade Program: 25% of the cost of your
license per year.
Access to prerelease versions, free updates, free upgrades
and discounts on new products for the year. The price of
the Annual 4Q Upgrade Program depends on the cost of your
license. If your license is kept current, then the subscription
cost is 25% of your original license fee per year. However,
if your membership in the 4Q Upgrade program lapses for
one year or more, then the cost to resubscribe is 25% of
the current cost of the license for your product, times
the number of years expired. In order to keep the renewal
cost based on your original license fee you must maintain
continuous membership in the renewal program.
Hourly Support: $440 for 4 hours
Hourly support can be pre-purchased for $440 for each 4
hour block. We offer a 10% discount on hourly support when
purchased with the 4Q Annual Upgrade program.

REQUIREMENTS
4th Quarter products require a 4D Server in order to run
over a network. Customizing 4th Quarter requires a full
suite of 4th Dimension development tools. This includes
the 4D Development environment, 4D Insider, and 4D Compiler.
These products must be purchased separately, and are available
through most software mail-order outlets, from 4D,
Inc. or directly from Braided Matrix.
Leasing

You can receive most products by email. Or, you can download
the latest versions from our FTP site. Demo packages including
software disk and literature are provided and shipped by US
Mail at no extra charge. Express shipping costs extra.
